Printed lighters do not ship like ordinary promotional goods. They are classified as a hazardous material for transport, which changes the service used, the transit time and what has to happen at the delivery address. This page summarises the rules that most often affect a delivery date.
| Stage | Typical window |
|---|---|
| Standard production | 2–4 weeks from proof approval |
| Large orders (10,000+) | Allow 4–6 weeks of production |
| Rush production | 5 business days, for a flat surcharge |
| Ground shipping, USA | 1–5 business days |
| Ground freight, Canada | 5–10 business days |
Windows are indicative and depend on factory load at the time of order. Tell us your in-hands date up front — production can often be sequenced to meet a real deadline without a rush charge.
One box of 300 lighters weighs approximately 16.35 lb and measures roughly 19″ × 7″ × 8″. Plan receiving space accordingly: a 5,000-piece order is a pallet, not a parcel.
Canadian orders ship from the Toronto hub. Transit time varies by province, delivery charges vary by province and are subject to change, and orders are subject to provincial taxes and any applicable duties. Ask for a delivery quote before committing to a date.
A pre-production proof is issued before printing. Approval of that proof is the point of no return — once artwork is approved and the run starts, a custom-decorated order cannot be cancelled or returned for a change of mind, because the goods cannot be resold to anyone else.
Read the proof at actual size rather than zoomed in, and check spelling, phone numbers and URLs character by character. If goods arrive damaged in transit, or the delivered product does not match the approved proof, contact us with photographs and we will resolve it.
